Emite la UAT convocatoria para la publicación de libros digitales
La Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) lanzó la convocatoria e-Libros UAT 2024, destinada a fomentar la generación y transferencia del conocimiento mediante la publicación digital de libros universitarios.
Coordinada por la Secretaría de Investigación y Posgrado y el Consejo de Publicaciones de la UAT, la iniciativa busca garantizar el acceso universal a la ciencia, reafirmando su compromiso con la educación como un derecho humano.
Podrán participar el personal académico e investigador de tiempo completo y horario libre de la UAT con propuestas de obras originales que contribuyan al desarrollo de las ciencias, la cultura, las artes y las humanidades. Los libros seleccionados se publicarán en formato EPUB o cualquier otro acordado con editoriales externas asociadas.
La Secretaría de Investigación y Posgrado de la UAT financiará la publicación digital de las obras bajo una política de acceso abierto, asegurando que los libros estén disponibles gratuitamente a través del portal “Libros UAT”.
Las propuestas podrán enviarse hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2024, acompañadas de la documentación requerida, a través de la plataforma de convocatorias de la UAT. La Secretaría de Investigación y Posgrado, junto con el Comité Local de Publicaciones, evaluará la originalidad, calidad y pertinencia de las obras. Además, se realizará una revisión de pares externa antes de su publicación final.
